SUPPORT BEYOND BRAC

BRAC's primary function is as a repository for Public Record Office Victoria collections which were created in the north-west district of Victoria.

We are able to fetch records to support your research, provide advice about the collection, and address short, specific enquiries for people unable to visit the Reading Room. A number of Guides are available to support you to use our collection for researching ancestors, individuals, houses and local histories - CLICK HERE. Staff are always available to help you in the Reading Room too.

For all other enquiries, we recommend the following resources:

Significant research - if you need to use our collection for research but are unable to visit the Reading Room, there are a number of Private Search Agents who are able to undertake research at BRAC on your behalf - the listing can be found HERE on the PROV website.
